The Masjid Annur Youth Group is committed to the reality that young people are an important and integral part of our community. The youth program seeks to foster the maturing of faith and increase in knowledge in our youth.
Through a variety of programs, events, and outreach, we seek to draw young people into responsible participation into the life of the Masjid and the community. A program to strengthen faith, develops character, and builds future leaders.
Masjid Annur Boy Scout Troop is having it Summer Camp from July 5th to 11th at Lassen Boy Scout Camp (45 miles East of Chico), which is in the area of LassenVolcanic National Park... an amazing place!
The camp offers great activities such as: Camping, Canoeing, Wall climbing, Pioneering, Archery, Rifle shooting, Moutain biking, Shotgun shooting, Horseback riding and much
more! Bring your fishing gear, the camp is located on the side of a lake with rainbow trout fish.
Registration is open to all boys, age 11 to 17. You don't have to be a current Boy Scout, anybody can register as a new Scout and join the Troop for this amazing summer camp adventure.
Camp free: $346 which includes round trip transportation, lodging, food and all fun activities.

Youth is hosting a soccer tournament on Sunday, May 16th at 10am at
Masjid Annur. The youth will be divided into teams of 8 per team and the games
will be comprised of two 20 minute halves. Refreshments, drinks, and lunch will
be served. Bring all of your friends!

What? The Annur Youth Bowl is a contact
FLAG FOOTBALL tournament!
When? The Annur Youth Bowl will be held
during the month of June with the final in July
Where? Annur Youth Bowl will be held at
Masjid Annur Field
Who? Ages 13-18; teams consist of 7
players
How? Submit the Annur Youth Bowl
registration Form, and the $10 entrance fee, NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 2010. You cannot play or compete if you
do not make the deadline!
Games are 30 minutes long, with two 15 minute halves. Teams
consist of 7 players who play as DEFENDERS, RECEIVERS, and a QUARTERBACK.
RULES & REQUIREMENTS are on the registration form.
Teams will be selected on Saturday, June 5th, and
rosters will be posted at the Masjid and online.
Round 1 will be
played on the second Saturday of June (6/12) between 10am – 2pm. Refreshments
and lunch will be served.
Round 2 will be
played on the last Saturday of June (6/26) between 10am—2pm. Refreshments and
lunch will be served.
SUPERBOWL: The
two winning teams from each division will play in the final. The final will
take place on Date TBA and will be a community event, with a BBQ.
