teacher. Please stress the importance of Sunday School and Islamic
education to your children. Books are required for all classes
and must be purchased as soon as possible so your child can follow
along in the class. Islamic etiquette and dress is mandatory.
Finally, we highly encourage you to approach the staff and administration
for any questions or concerns you may have. Your continuing feedback
is what will bring success to our future Muslim community leaders.

Quranic and Islamic Studies
Qur’anic Studies addresses areas of reading,
reciting, memorization and understanding of the Holy Qur’an. Students
are grouped into age-appropriate and knowledge appropriate levels.
Students in all grades are taught Islamic history, issues of the
lawful and prohibited (halal and haram), and the Sunnah of the Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh). Students learn new Islamic songs, hadith and supplications
and also pray Duhr in congregation.
Arabic language classes are grouped according to each student’s level of proficiency. The language is taught from the alphabet to words and vocabulary development. Verbal interaction early on strengthens the program, with emphasis on grammar and usage in the upper grades. Formal instruction and evaluation of reading and writing skills in Arabic is provided by a native-Arabic speaking teacher.
Please find all needed information about the registration for the year 2005-2006. Both forms need to be filled out and signed to complete registration.
