OUR GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The Masjid Annur Educational Outreach is a nonprofit organization that was organized in August 1999. The organization consists of Muslim women from various ethnic backgrounds giving presentations to seventh grade classes.

Our objectives are to give a clear and accurate picture of Islam and the Muslims and to enhance what is being presented in the public school system. We also want to make this site available to high school teachers and students. Even though we do not give presentations to high school students at the present time, we want to make available accurate information for teachers, students, and anyone wanting to learn about Islam.

Our goal is to make this site diverse in its information about Islam and to have a library of books and videos for loan to public school teachers.
